T-Ball @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am |

Generally for
ages 4-5 year olds. An opportunity for children to be
introduced to baseball. They will learn the basics of
hitting off a tee, learning the bases, catching and
throwing from the “L” position. Each game will consist
of three innings. |

Minor League @ 10:15 am - 11:15 am |
| |
Generally
for ages 6 - 8 year olds. The players will began to be
pitched to, and learn more of the basics of baseball.
All players will play the field and get up to bat,
during each inning . Score will not be kept.
Approximately three innings will be played, more if time
allows. |

Triple A League @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm |

Generally for
9 year olds and those not ready for Major Leagues. This
league is designed to prepare the player for Major
League. We teach the concepts of base running, fielding
from each position, hitting, and more fundamentals of
the game. |

Major League @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm |

For ages 10 -
13. This is the closest we get to “real” baseball. The
players will start to put “the basics” they have
learned, together. They will begin to learn the
fundamentals of the game and strategy of the game.
Some basic rules we follow are the following: |

There are ten
(four outfielders) field players. |

The game will
consist of six innings. |
| |

A Coach or a
volunteer does all the pitching. |

The pitcher
does not play the field. |
| |

Batters can
not walk, or bunt. |

Each batter
will be given a sufficient numbers of pitches to be able
to put the ball in play. |

If the player
misses the ball three times the players is out. |
| |

The team
batting can only go through the lineup once. |
| |
* |
There is only
one base on an overthrow. |
| |
* |
Only one
player on deck at all times. |
| |
* |
Only team
members are allowed on the bench during games. |

Spring Baseball Fee: $40 per
child.
Families with 3 or more
children playing receive a family discount and pay $100 maximum fee.
Please sign up by
March 4, 2012. After this date there will be a $15 late fee.
Church member: $20 per
child, 3 or more $50.
Included
with registration, is a discount coupon from Modell’s. The coupon
must be used from March 23 – April 20, 2012. After our organization reaches
$500 in sales we will receive 5% back. The 5% we receive will go to
the Sports Ministry Budget.
