Dear
Friends and Family:
Happy New
Year! This evening we fly out of JFK for a twelve day stay in
Ukraine! We are so excited about this trip. The three of us will
be celebrating Christmas in Ukraine with the children! A big thank
all of you who have provided cards, gifts and finances to make this
trip a special time of blessing for the children. We have received
more than 200 Christmas cards for the children! Please pray for all
the contacts we will make and the relationships that will be
established and strengthened during this time. Below is a photo of
the three of us - Emily Nargi, Donna and Rich. |

We
received lots of good news this month:
Valeria,
age 9, is now permanently in Brenna's Home! We now have
9 children at Brenna's Home. Here is a picture of Valeria and Rich
from camp this summer. |
| The
children received the 7 large boxes of winter clothing we shipped
over by boat. Below is a photo of the children from Brenna's Home
and some of the Tabitha Children going through and picking out
needed clothing at the church.
Vala
also wrote to say: "We finally got official permission from the
authorities for the staircase between the two apartments to be
completed!" We will be interested to see the status of this project. |

A
special "thank you" to those who donated to our "slipper" project
for our visit to the Special Needs Orphagenage in Lutsk. We were
able to purchase 50 pairs of slippers for children (newborn through
age 4). We know they will be greatly appreciated, and will be a way
for us to extend the love of Christ to children beyond our normal
reach. |
We want to thank
all of you for your prayers and financial contributions which have enabled
2011 to be a very exciting year of growth and new opportunities for the
Brenna Engle Foundation. A special "thank you" to those who committed to
sponsoring children on a regular basis. We pray that God will continue to
lead and direct as we plan for 2012 and beyond!
