Nursery

The Hyde Park Baptist Church Nursery is a service provided to families that attend our services.  The goal and ministry of the nursery is to be able to allow parents of young children to participate in the worship and preaching or teaching opportunities of the church.  This valuable ministry is taken seriously and all nursery workers follow well-designed guidelines for the maintaining of safety and security in the nursery rooms.  Here are but a few:

* All nursery workers are members of the HPBC, and are well known to us.
* The nursery always has adequate staffing to ensure safety and security.  The children are never left alone.
* Only nursery workers are allowed in the nurseries.
* Obviously sick children are not admitted to the nursery.

All toys are regularly sanitized, as are linens.
* Regular babies are enrolled in Cradle Roll, our check in system.
* Each child visiting the nursery is signed in with a name tag and released only to the parent that signed their child in with the accompanying tag.
* All children's possessions are labeled.
* Diapered children are changed and faces wiped at end of each service, allowing parents to pick up their children without needing to "clean them up"

Sunday Mornings 10:30 am - 12:15 pm 0 - 2 year and 3 - 5 years
Wednesday Evenings    
  June - August none  
  September - May 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. 0 - 3 years
