Mission Statement
The purpose of beginning this Bible Study is to
dig deeper into God’s Word, that we might know Him better, know His will for
our lives and grow together in Him. We desire to discover, with the help of
the Holy Spirit, the one true interpretation of the Bible and support each
other in it’s application to our lives.
We pray that Christ would be glorified through
our efforts as we meet together as women united in Spiritual fellowship with
a desire to learn and grow in Him- allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and
through us (His leading), and to strengthen our witness through a closer
relationship with Him.
Guidelines
1. We
will work through books of the Bible, one at a time, comparing Scripture to
Scripture and occasional reference materials for historical content and
background. If a point needs clarification, we will ask the Pastor for
help.
2. We will
meet Tuesday afternoons, 3:45 to 4:45 PM. There is no time frame for
completing this Bible Study. It will be as the Lord leads.
3. Christ
honoring ministries cannot be achieved in our own strengths; they must be
God lead. We will open and close in prayer to ask the Holy Spirit to guide
and direct us.
4. Since the
time we have is short, and to be good stewards of this time, we will study
God’s Word, and not socialize. This is a serious-minded group, dedicated to
keeping our focus off individuals and keep our focus on God. (NO GOSSIP)
5. Members
will be encouraged to come prepared. They should have read the chapter we
are studying before hand, and written down their notes, inspirations and
questions. As iron sharpens iron, we will work through the sections
learning from and sharing with each other, supporting and encouraging each
other as we learn and grow.
6. We open
this study to women who desire to grow closer to the Lord through the study
of His Word and we trust the Lord in who He brings to this gathering.
“A Christian
Experience is not something going around, to be “caught”, but going on and
growing within him or her.

Submitted,
